Smoked Salmon
The process involved for our (Award Winning) classic oak smoked salmon requires knowledge, time and patience which we feel is worth the wait.

We adore the buttery notes which arrive, soon followed by the fresh notes of the ocean and the salmon. We truly love the delicate nature of the smoke and the freshness of the fish.
This classic delicately smoked salmon is succulent, the lightness of the smoke is so delicate, we were pleased to taste the freshness of the salmon. We felt this successful simplicity of the product worked well.
This is a majestic-looking side of salmon with a deep orangey-red colour. It has a good gloss but does not look oily. On tasting, it is succulent and tender but with a pleasing level of bite. The texture is really good. The level of smoking adds character with a high but not overpowering level of salt. The wonderful thing is, you can still taste the fish so the balance is very well judged. We really enjoyed this and think it exceptionally good.
This is a very attractive side of salmon with a wonderful glossy appearance. We loved the restrained light aroma. The texture was perfectly firm and it just melted in the mouth. The flavour was well-judged and well-balanced, not over smoky, not too salty in the cure which allowed the quality of the fish to come through.
This is a beautiful oak-smoked, richly-wooded, coloured and supremely glossy side of smoked salmon. which would make an ideal centrepiece to any table. Superbly balanced, the salt content is just right, the texture is meaty and not too fatty with good bite and there is a rich smokiness that lingers all the way to the lengthy finish. "This looks and tastes just like traditional smoked salmon used to be" commented one of the judges.

These sides of salmon are not sliced, we leave it to you to cut slices as thickly or thinly as you choose. We would recommend thin slices with this product, squeeze of lemon on some nice artisan bread. Simple and delicious!

D-Cut Sliced which are hand sliced by our skilful then laid back on skin.
The D-cut side is the perfect way to buy smoked salmon if you're entertaining. Here, you'll find that the slices are cut into the salmon and the slice is in the shape of a 'D'. The slice, which goes from the back to the belly, includes the salmon's rich, flavoursome brown meat.

Vacuum packed & suitable for home freezing.
Allergies - Contains (Fish).
Although every care has been taken to remove all bones some may remain.

Local Pickup: Available to collect directly from Kilnhouse in St Monans.
